Thursday September 26, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy and Hope try to get the better of each other regarding Ridge, Brooke and Taylor and Will attempts to make sense of the divide between his parents.
Ridge Senses Tension in the Office, and Steffy Assures Hope She’s not Parent-Trapping Her Mom and Dad This Time
At Forrester Creations in the design room, Steffy and Hope talk about how much history their moms have with Ridge. Steffy reminds Hope her mom and dad end up together all the time and they love one another.
Hope says Ridge is in love with her mother. They circle back to Hope wondering if Taylor’s back to reunite with Ridge. Steffy doesn’t think so but doesn’t know what’s coming.
Hope asks if she knows why her mom is back. Steffy thinks she just wants to be with her kids. Hope understands and doesn’t think anyone could come between her mom and Ridge.
In the CEO office, Ridge and Taylor embrace. They talk about how happy Steffy is that Taylor’s there. Ridge reluctantly admits he’s very happy she’s there.
She beams and says she will appreciate every moment with family. Ridge gives her a side hug when Brooke just happens along. Brooke stops to eavesdrop.
She hopes she’s not interrupting. Brooke tells her to stay but Taylor looks wistful and tells them she’s happy to see them so happy and takes off.
Later, Brooke apologizes for interrupting. Ridge shrugs. They were catching up. They talk excitedly about the Bedroom line and Taylor’s return and how Brooke says they’re forging a friendship.
Brooke out of the blue wonders if everything is alright with Taylor. She felt something was off with his ex. Ridge didn’t notice. Brooke wonders why she’s not happier.
From another room, Will is on a call with Aunt Donna who wants to set him up with someone. When RJ arrives, Will disconnects and has to ask, “You really didn’t know Luna was a Lunatic?”
RJ sighs and Will realizes he shouldn’t have asked. At least she’s in prison. RJ says she will be for a long time and asks why he’s there and not at Spencer.
Will’s not sure what he wants to do but his mom asked if he wanted to work there. He loved Europe but missed home. “It’s your life,” RJ says but would be shocked if Bill let his son work there.
Will thinks it’ll be his choice.

At Bill’s manse, he asks Katie to discuss of their family’s future. He wants to reconnect with Will as his parents and more. Katie hopes he’s not going there.
Bill says he’s the omnipotent one at Spencer Publications. He makes a decision and people implement it.
No pushback allowed. It’s fine in business but not with family or her. He knows there has to be give and take and listening, which isn’t his strong suit.
He asks her to think of the life they could have. Katie asks if this came up after they found out about Luna.
Katie hopes he’s not blaming himself. He’s not. If her own mother couldn’t see it, how could he? He’s looking forward and asks to give Will his family again.
He holds Katie’s hand. Bill admits he never would have gone to Poppy if Katie hadn’t turned him down. He says it’s not a rebound. They can be happy.
He asks her to say yes as their son walks in and interrupts.
“A yes to what?” He assumes Dad wants her back.
Bill takes full responsibility for breaking his mom’s heart and he admires how Will looks out for her. Speaks to his character. He assures his son he’s changed.
He asks if Will wants a reunion and Will turns to his mom to see if it’s what she wants. She skirts the question and is so glad he’s home. They hug.
Taylor goes into the design room and touts Steffy’s parenting. She asks where her mom has been and Taylor says she and Ridge had a nice talk. Steffy was talking to Hope about her and Ridge.
She’s not going to play matchmaker but it’s hard not to when she sees how much Taylor cares for him. Taylor calls him special. She’ll always love him.
They reminisce about Phoebe and Tayor tears up. She’s accepted Ridge is with Brooke and Steffy needs to accept it too. Their future is bright. Steffy looks around, confused.
