There’s no better place to try Cuban food in Miami than Little Havana. This neighborhood sprung up in the 1960s, and locals here have retained their Cuban traditions and culture, especially through food.

El Pub Restuarant

Right in the heart of Little Havana, El Pub Restaurant has been serving up traditional Cuban food for nearly two decades. The diner-style restaurant has a homey and eclectic vibe, with daily specials drawing in the crowds. Their empanadas offer a flavorful explosion, and you’ll find yourself coming back for more!

Ball & Chain

Ball & Chain has an iconic place in the history of Little Havana. First opened in 1935 as a saloon, today it’s one of the most popular venues in Miami. There’s live music nearly every night and a delectable selection of co*cktails to choose from. Dine on tapas and soak up the historic atmosphere!

Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday, 11 am to 1 am; Friday and Saturday, 11 am to 3 am

Los Pinarenos Fruteria

This open-air fruit market in Little Havana sells some of the freshest produce around that will evoke the taste of Cuba. Los Pinarenos Fruteria mixes up smoothies and juices that will tickle your taste buds and provide some of the best refreshments on a hot summer’s day. Visiting here is a must in mango season!

La Ventanita

La Ventanita is a curious little coffee window located in Versailles, known as the “World’s Most Famous Cuban Restaurant.” Run by a Cuban family since 1971, Versailles has one of the biggest Cuban menus in town. But it’s La Ventanita that always draws a crowd, serving up Cuban coffee like cortadito and colades.
